There's never been a better time to visit Europe. Why? Because summer flights to this spectacular part of the world will be the cheapest they've been in three years, according to Kayak.com's annual Travel Hacker Guide. This is such great news for anyone planning a bike tour with us, that we had to share what we've heard about this travel trend.

The travel search engine crunched its data on 1.5 billion site and app searches to find that overall, median airfare to Europe will be slightly below $700 round-trip for travel during the summer of 2018. That's 15 percent less than the summer of 2016 and five percent less than the summer of 2017. Can you say fantastico?
Several factors are contributing to the price drop. For starters, there has been increased competition among European airlines, with both new low-cost and major airlines entering the market and adding new flight routes. Upstart low-cost carrier Norwegian Air, for example, recently added flights from New York City and Rome from $189 one-way and between Denver and London starting at $199. Naturally, this has led to some price wars among the airlines, something every traveler can appreciate.
Then there's the added benefit of a strong U.S. dollar, which makes Europe a more affordable travel destination for Americans. You see what we mean? This summer is the perfect time to plan your next European adventure.
